January 2010

Not much happened in January. Sometimes the Puma thinks it is on frictionless ice, thus the 100% slip warning.

Chris kept plugging away at his new house.

I went to Witchita for a guys' weekend. I found this double fortune to be confusing.
One of the first things we did was go to Gandalf Manor. It is a fairly good size Wizarding goods store.

Then we went to Kent's house to polish our swords. Then we probably did some other stuff.

The next day we went out to play with our freshly polished swords.

It was a good time.

Later that evening we went to the Olive Garden so we could watch Heath play with his iPhone and see everyone from Garden City.

It was exciting.
I'm telling you, if you want to see folks from Garden City, go to the Olive Garden.

The next day we went geocaching, which is apparently a lot of fun if you are not me.

It gave Kent something to do with his iPhone.
Sometimes driving around for hours on end looking for tiny objects makes people go crazy.

Then we went to look at old bridges and get chased by rabid dogs.

We stayed at a hotel that night so that Heath and Dan could stay up late talking about their iPhones.

On Sunday we went to Kent's fancy new church.
Here is Kent with Peter.

Then we went to Target to get presents for the kids.
Later in the month Anna brought me this sign she had written.
I said OK.

It snowed in January.

I did some snow-plowing.
The moon over the snow at dusk was pretty. So I took some pictures of it.

This is why you shouldn't throw away old computers. Sometimes they come in handy.

We made a fear the beard snowman.

And then the whole family put on their beards for the big game.

I would like a printed set of all of the moon pictures. I would buy them, if that is a possibility. (Or if Betsy's looking for Christmas ideas, I'll throw that out as one. :))
