We should have some very interesting wheat pictures in the next few weeks, and not the pretty kind, I'm afraid. Wheat across the state is about two weeks ahead of schedule, which means it has almost all started to joint. The old rule of thumb, according to the paper, is that two hours at 24 degrees is enough to damage jointed wheat. I have seen other forecasts for Saturday night as low as 16 degrees.

Thats sucks! Remember back in March when it was sunny and warm? That was nice. Except I suppose that is what has put you in this mess now.
