Whenever they spread manure, they also spread hunks of concrete covered in manure.

And a look at the row units. This is the most residue I have planted into yet, as this field hasn't been tilled since the fall of 2005.
I have figured out that if you can tell at a glance where the rows are that you have planted, the cleaners are set too low and you are asking for trouble.
I still think I would be better off with a little more down pressure...
