So I came back from my Rock 'n' Roll adventure and got all set to cut some corn on Tuesday the (yes, still October) twentieth. It was good to see what a difference a little rain and a little time makes to a bad situation.
It certainly felt good to be rolling again.
And it was good to see my field o' dust green up a little bit.
Chris was able to come help, which is always good. We should be able to get this field knocked out in no time.
Unless there are lines at the elevator...
People were getting whatever kind of truck they could to speed up harvest.
It was a long day of waiting in line after line after line.
This is Safety Man. He spent his time this fall getting Providence up to new safety standards. And you can see he took his own advise. It is always nice to see another fan of safety and cutesy truck names and photography.
I was excited about getting some wheat planted...
But alas, another day ends with me pulling Swheatie in out of the rain at pert near one in the morning. No planting wheat tomorrow...

I wish it was 'cause it kept raining and raining and not 'cause it kept being a hundred and fifty million degrees outside.
